The goal I scored in Glasgow that night was simply a dream.
It is one of my two greatest memories as a footballer, along with winning the World Cup in Paris against Brazil in 1998. But this was a great goal, just beautiful, although I say it myself.
Whatever else passed me by that night, I remember what happened in those moments. It was a pass from the left from Roberto Carlos and I really didn't stop to even think what I was going to do. I just hit it out of intuition and the moment my boot made contact with the ball, I absolutely knew it was a goal - a fantastic one.
Since that night I've seen the goal on television and on tape many times. Of all the things I've done in my career, it is the sight which makes me the happiest.
Scoring that goal for Madrid in that particular final at Hampden was the best - there is nothing else to it.
