My first, and favourite, football memory was the infamous Old Firm game which finished 2-2 in 1987. It was the match where Terry Butcher, Chris Woods and Frank McAvennie were all sent off for a brawl in the penalty box. Graham Roberts also got into trouble for winding up the crowd after going in goal following Woods' sending off.

I was a young boy and sat there listening to it all on the radio. I was just about to turn it off because Rangers were losing 2-1, but then Richard Gough scored in the last minute and I was absolutely delighted. The fact that we were down to nine men made it all the more special.

Given that it was before a lot of games were live on the TV, I had to wait until Scotsport the next day to see the action. Graeme Souness was the manager then and the quality of player he brought up from England was amazing. Butcher was my favourite player. It was a great time to be a Rangers fan.

My other special memory is going out on the pitch at Ibrox after winning the snooker world championship in 2006. It was a real goosebumps moment and one of the biggest buzzes I've had outside snooker.
