My memory is of the 70's standing there freezing in the winter with white knuckles watching the mighty tangerines just miss promotion to Division one every season.
the Micky Walsh goal of the season was spectacular and we were filmed running on the pitch with everyone else at the end of the game- my first TV appearance ha ha ha.
When they pointlessly sacked manager Alan Brown we did a petition and got some of the players to sign it amongst the 1000 fans on there- we should have gone up that year but ended up starting the slide that was arrested by the genius of Ian Holloway...
